Insurance leads is the blood of our business, however, speaking to clients on a consistent basis it the oxygen the we need to keep the heart pumping that circulates the blood.
One way to engage a potential client on the phone or in person is to have something of value to offer them at no cost to them. When you have something of value you believe will benefit them and enhance their lives you have no problem telling people your talking to you have something that may benefit them.
Insurance Leads Should Not Be Your Focus
Insurance leads are important but they are not what we should be focused on because after all you just don't want a lead you want to find people you can help. You want insurance prospect that has a problem you product can solve.
You sometimes it just boils down to that prospect or lead not being ready to buy at this particular moment. We know that everyone needs life insurance buy needs to sell a person wants to.
That person is your ideal prospect or potential client.
What is an insurance lead after all, have you every really thought about what is a lead. I would say that it is a person who incurred about a product or a service. How qualified is that person to buy right now or are they just curious.
As I am thinking about what is an insurance lead it brings to mind if someone called a number or filled out a mail response card after reading the head line then they must have some sort of desire for the product or service.
Your insurance lead does want and need your product.
Put yourself in your prospects place why would you fill out a card for information if you did not have a whim of a notion that you not only wanted that by needed it in your life.
It is your job to help this person see the benefits of having what ever it is you are offering.
